The Taiwan Society of Basic Design and Art is a non-profit academic association dedicated to advancing research, creative practice, and education in basic design. The Society promotes scholarly exchange, supports publications and exhibitions, and fosters collaboration among design communities in Taiwan and internationally.

Journal of Basic Design & Art
The Journal of Basic Design is the official academic journal of the Society. It serves as a platform for publishing research and creative work related to basic design, including design education, theory, and practice.
The journal is published annually in principle. Submissions are accepted year-round and reviewed on a rolling basis.
